QUALITY IMPROVEMENT ACTIVITY
You are required to undertake a quality improvement activity each year.
This can be an audit, a clinical project or any other work that you have done that could be said to have improved your service or your organisation’s service.
Write a description of the activity with some reflection as below –
Say what you did
Say why you did it.
Say what the outcome was.
Say what you thought about the project.
Say what you are going to do next – and maybe put that in your PDP.
If you are in a specialty where there is a National Audit Programme (HQIP), you should state your participation in that audit as a quality improvement measure. The list of National Audits and quality improvement programs is here
